Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher graced the stage together one more time during a joyous memorial service Saturday at Forest Lawn cemetery in front of family, fans, friends, a dog, a parrot and even Star Wars droid R2-D2.

Todd Fisher, son of Debbie Reynolds and brother of Carrie Fisher, shares details about the upcoming public memorial for his mom and sister.

Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds are about to get a belated but pretty awesome public send-off. The public memorial will be held at 1pm, March 25 at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, where the mother/daughter are buried. The ceremony will be held in a 1,200 seat theater at the cemetery.   

Todd Fisher revealed details about the upcoming memorial service for the two, to be held on March 25 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills. “The public is invited because that’s how my mother would want it,” said Fisher. “She was very connected to her fans and felt they were a part of her, so we’re opening it to the public.”
